Help us protect native nature! Join us to remove invasive species at Elm Fork Nature Preserve! Let’s work together to remove invasive species and keep our ecosystem thriving. All helping hands welcome! Water and tools provided for all volunteers. 

Everyone in the community is invited to a fun-filled evening as Carrollton’s Adaptive Programming is in the spotlight to celebrate inclusion. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities for all ages and abilities, including face painting, balloon animals, and inflatable games. Participants will not leave hungry either, this free event includes dinner in addition to all the fun. A sensory friendly break area is available throughout the program. Participants will need to be accompanied by a caregiver if needed. Individuals interested in volunteering, call 972-466-4862. Registration is required.

Join us for the annual Veterans Day Concert at the Senior Center and give back to those who have served our country. Volunteers will assist with setting up tables and chairs, managing the food line, serving meals, and supporting other event needs. Be part of this special event honoring the brave members of our community who have served in the military.

Lend a hand at the Senior Center’s monthly luncheon! Volunteers will assist with setting up tables, chairs, and other essentials, and help serve food to our wonderful members. 2-3 volunteers will be needed for each date. Volunteers are not required to commit to all events in the series.

Volunteer at the Perry Pumpkin Patch & Craft Fair!
Celebrate fall with us at the Perry Pumpkin Patch & Craft Fair on Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum! We’re looking for volunteers to help at the craft station, assist with pumpkin patch check-in, run the photo booth, and more.

Volunteer at Santa on the Square!
Help us spread holiday cheer at Santa on the Square on Saturday, December 6 from 4–8 p.m. in Downtown Carrollton! We’re looking for festive “elves” to assist with photo lines for Santa and other holiday backdrops, help at the craft station, guide kids in writing letters to Santa, and more.

It’s a magical evening full of joy, lights, and laughter—and we’d love your help to make it extra special!

Volunteer at Halloween Critter Hunt & Downtown Delights!
Get into the spooky spirit and help out at Halloween Critter Hunt & Downtown Delights on Saturday, October 25 from 5–8 p.m. in Downtown Carrollton! We need volunteers to pass out candy to trick-or-treaters, run the photo booth, interact with attendees, and help explain how the Halloween Critter Hunt works.

Throw on a costume (optional) and join us for a frightfully good time!
