It is more important than ever to plant trees in the community. While Arbor Day is observed nationally in April, Texas Arbor Day 2025 will be held on 11/4, when the weather is more favorable to planting trees. Denton County Master Gardeners will teach individuals how to choose the right tree for the right spot and how to plant and care for it. There will be fun and engaging activities for people of all ages. Participants will also celebrate Texas Arbor Day by receiving a free tree to take home and plant in their garden, as supplies last.
If inclement weather is expected, the event will be moved to Crosby Rec Center.
